Bleed In Audio, final cut

February 19, 2010

Wilde/West(ervelt)

1. The biggest problem for this project was probably the room in which we worked.  It had poor lighting and was incredibly tiny so the shot selection was somewhat limited.

2. Our biggest success were the “scenic” shots which we put over the music transitions. I think they helped tell a bit of the story of the radio room without needing me to explain.

3. I enjoyed working technology into the shots, and I would love to make a concert film because my head has been running wild with different ideas on shots and such.

4. I think I was just looking to talk about an important part of my life and I really hope this can help boost a little bit of Wake Radio’s notoriety since people don’t even know we exist.

Intriguing Introductory Interviews

January 28, 2010

Peter Westervelt

First time truly using FCP, but have dabbled here and there without any creations to show for it.

Success: where I stumbled into overlapping two people saying the same phrase (media studies)

Improve next time for me:  smoothness between clips

Improve next time for us: Interviewer look more towards the camera, restate the interviewers questions, quieter environment, tripod for camera, more time rolling into/out of each person
